Initially affiliated with the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), del Mazo Maza served as the Governor of the State of Mexico from 2017 to 2023.

Political Career

Del Mazo Maza's political career began in 2003 when he was elected as a federal deputy. He later served as Mayor of Huixquilucan, a municipality in the State of Mexico. In 2012, he was appointed Secretary of Social Development for the State of Mexico.
